Prince acaba de cumplir 1 año y este guapo perro ha pasado por mucho en su corta vida. Sigue viviendo en el Refugio Cantalobos, pero es urgente que le encontremos un hogar, ya que, como todo perro joven, necesita un poco de límites.
Mejor en un hogar con niños mayores.

🍀🍀 Necesito contarles la historia de Little Prince. Recogimos a Prince hace dos semanas, venía de una casa de terror. Estuvo encerrado con muchos otros perros sin comida ni agua durante más de una semana. Después de unos días en el veterinario, se consideró que estaba sano y podía ir a una casa de acogida, pero al final de la semana comenzó con diarrea y vómitos, y le diagnosticaron el temido parvovirus.
Pasó una semana en el veterinario y le costó mejorar, porque no comía, estaba anémico. Entonces, después de una semana lo trasladamos a una clínica de 24 horas, porque sentí que necesitaba un tubo nasal. Allí, sus análisis de sangre indicaron anemia, pero también niveles altos de infección.
Pero poco a poco fue recuperando fuerzas.
Así que, después de una semana en esta clínica, finalmente regresó a casa. Todavía en piel y huesos, decidió que la jaula no era para él, se escapó... y encontró el camino a nuestra cama.
Todavía lo están controlando con análisis de sangre para detectar anemia, problemas hepáticos e infecciones.
Aumentó 3 kg y está listo para encontrar una familia que pueda darle amor y confianza, y ayudarlo a olvidar los horrores que debe haber soportado en su joven vida 😞
Prince has just turned 1 year now, and this hansome dog has gone trough a lot in his young life. He´s still living at the Cantalobos Shelter, but its urgent we find him a home, as, like with every young dog, he needs a bit of boundaries.
Better in a home with older children.

🍀🍀 I need to tell you the story of Little Prince. We collected prince two weeks ago he came from a horror house. He was locked in with a lot of other dogs without any food nor water for more than a week. After a few days at the vets he was deemed healthy and could go into foster but at the end of the week he started with diarrhea and vomiting, and was diagnosed with the dreaded parvo.
He spend a week at the vet, and had it difficult to get better, because he was not eating, anemic. So after a week we moved him to a 24 h clinic, for I felt a nasal tube was needed.
There his bloods showed anemia, but also infection levels were high.
But he was slowly getting his strength back.
So after a week in this clinic, he finally came home. Still skin and bones, he decided the crate was not for him, broke out… and found his way to our bed.
He’s still being monitored with bloodwork for anemia, liver and infection issues.
He gained 3 kg. And is ready to find a family that can give him love and confidence, and help him forget the horrors he must have endured in his young life 😞
