Ricky es uno de los 3 perritos que rescatamos de una situación desesperada. La dueña estaba enferma y su hijo (algo con problemas mentales) debía cuidar de los perros. Cuando las instancias sociales fueron alertadas encontraron a 3 perros, totalmente descuidados, viviendo en su propia suciedad.
Ricky era un perro bastante inseguro, que intentaba morder cuando se sentía atemorizado. En Cantalobos poco a poco aprende a volver a confiar en la gente. Nuestra voluntaria Úrsula le cortó el pelo y ya hace 2 semanas que está esterilizado. Negativo para enfermedades.
Entonces buscamos una persona/familia sin niños pequeños. Alguien que adquirió experiencia con perros asustados, y que invertirá el tiempo necesario para que el pequeño Ricky vuelva a confiar en la humanidad.
Ricky is one of the 3 little dogs we rescued out of a desperate situation. The owner was sick and her (somewhat mentally challenged) son was supposed to take care of the dogs. When the social instances were alerted they found 3 dogs, totally uncared for, living in their own filth.
Ricky was a very frighted boy, who would try to nib when feeling treatend. At Cantalobos he slowly learns to trust people again. Our volunteer Ursula gave him a haircut, and he hs been spayed 2 weeks ago. Negative for deseases as well.
So we are looking for a person / family with no young kids. Someone that got experience with scared dogs, and will invest the time necessary to make little Ricky trust again in humanity.
